So happy that I attended Ingrid's "Painting a Galaxy" workshop. A fantastic experience, thanks to talented Ingrid, who was warm, helpful and down to earth. I thought painting was for pros, but she proved the contrary. I think I've got a new hobby! I'd highly recommend Ingrid's workshop to anyone who is in to painting, or simply anyone who just wants to take a break and refresh!
I attended Ingrid's 'Painting a Galaxy' workshop last weekend. It was absolutely incredible! I have barely picked up a paintbrush since I was a teenager, but with Ingrid's light-hearted, warm approach I was soon totally immersed in my experimenting and creating! I would highly recommend Ingrid's workshops to anyone curious about learning different painting techniques. Such a fun, creative day!
We spent 5 hours learning, talking and painting. She taught me her method and let me play with her colours and ink, encouraging me to go out of my comfort zone. I went away with a wealth of knowledge and happy memories of a Friday afternoon in London. Thank you so much for your generosity and inspiration.
It was such a relaxing and inspiring session. I met some lovely people and I can't wait to use the new skills I've learnt. Thanks again Ingrid!
I took the galaxy workshop with her and it was amazing!!! Lovely work.
1What is the difference between the workshops in Cassart and your studio?
The workshops I host at my home studio can be considered an immersion to watercolor, they are programmed to be 4 hours long, but can be extended if the students require more time to finish their projects. I accept a maximum of 4 students. More materials are provided and we analyze my own artworks to understand how do I get some of the effects. These are great for artists, professionals or students that want to deep into the watercolour practice. The classes at Cassart are introductory and are 2.5hrs long and the amount of materials that I can provide is limited. I accept a maximum of 8 students. These are great if you are curious about the medium or want to start painting but need more information about the materials.
2Do I need to bring something?
Just comfortable clothes, I provide all the materials you will need to paint.
3Where is the class hosted?
Unless announced differently, I host my workshops in my home-studio based in Kensal Rise, West London. Once I receive your payment I will send you my address and further instructions.
4Can I bring my own materials?
Yes, you can.
5Are these workshops suitable for children?
6Why is the space is limited to 4 or 6 students?
My space is quite small and I want everyone to feel comfortable. It also allows me to spend time with everyone. Some workshops requires more space per student.
7Can you teach the class in Spanish?
I get a lot this question! I don't mind teaching a bilingual class :)
